The Process

A Reef memorial begins by mixing ashes with cement and water to create a new placement sculpture. Once cured its deployed to the Reef. Though our contract allows for 1 year, deployments typically occur within 90 days of receipt of the ashes.

  1. A sales agreement is made for services selected.
  2. Ashes are stored in a vault.
  3. The placement sculpure is created by mixing the ashes with cement and water, then placed into a mold.
  4. The placement sculpture is protectively stored pending deployment. Deployment is scheduled based on family’s availability, the diver’s availability and in accordance with sea conditions.
  5. The placement sulpture is deployed to the reef.
  6. The family receives a certificate of completion, along with links to the online memorial page and online photos package.
